B1.1 Licence + Higher Diploma in Aeromechanical Maintenance
The Higher Diploma is always taken together with the B1.1 licence. At SurAvian you can choose between the licence only or the double qualification: Licence + Higher Diploma.
Double qualification: AML + Higher VET Diploma in Aeromechanics
We offer you the chance to take a Higher Diploma in aeromechanics recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education and the on-campus course for the aircraft maintenance licence approved by AESA, in the same period.
Under Royal Decree 1445/2018, published in the Spanish Official Gazette (BOE) no. 16 of 18 January 2019, the Ministry of Education updated this programme under the LOE framework, aligning the syllabus with the Part-66 training programme of EASA Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 for aircraft maintenance licences.
This dual programme lets you stand out from other students and add more value to your professional profile with aviation companies and Part-145 organisations (maintenance organisations approved by AESA), because you will obtain a professional licence granted by AESA and an official academic qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education.
This combination gives you complete training that greatly boosts your employability and makes your CV stand out when applying for jobs, combining the AESA AML with a Higher VET Diploma recognised by the Ministry of Education, and earning both qualifications in just 3 years.
